    I heard that bananas are radioactive a lot before but never know why and how.

        Trump lost? He disagrees..lol. Well, we can only assume he still disagrees since social media put him in the naughty corner. Dude can't even put together a playlist on Spotify anymore. That's hardcore. No need to worry about radioactive bananas though. Biden will create executive order #573 to create a commission to perform a study on the effect of installing a czar to fix the radioactivity.

          They're not. They contain 0.1 micro sieverts. One sievert is deadly. One mili sievert is 1000 micro sieverts and there is 7 mili sieverts in a Chest MRI. 50 mili sieverts is the maximum amount radiation workers are allowed to be safely exposed to per year. So a banana is 10,000 times less radioactive than one sievert which is deadly.

          In comparison, sleeping next to someone causes 0.05 micro sieverts of radiation (half the amount a banana has).

          Background radiation from the big bang causes more radiation than a banana. And tv/computer screens also have more radiation than a banana does. So to be clear, bananas are one of the least radioactive things to worry about.
