Also they are descended from Greeks so basically they never copied but they still did.

I dont want to go offtopic but, no, the romanians took over the greeks civilizations. They were totally different, not descendants.

Not to go off topic either but the founder of Rome was said to be a son of Aphrodite! He also took half of Troy with him to start off a new kingdom far away from Greece.

But most Romans were a mix of:
              Turksih (Asia Minor)
              Spain
              Colchis
              Greek.

When 500BC came around they had tiny Greek dna unless they just arrived in Greece.

so Jimmmy it is even. We are right and wrong each.

Not to go off topic but Troy wasn't Greek, it was also mythological. The story about Aeneas taking Trojans to Italy was created by Virgil under Augustus' orders, it is merely a story to link Augustus to the gods. Also Aeneas settled and married an Italian, and it was centuries later that Romulus supposedly founded Rome, making the Romans very distant descendants of the Trojans who weren't greek anyway, if you have read the iliad the Trojans were destroyed by the Greeks it was part of Asia Minor not Greece. Also Romulus wasn't a son of Aphrodite, Aeneas was and they were extremely distant relatives.
                A New Era has begun.

Not to go off topic but there were two myths of the founding of troy. We have the classic Romulus and Remus who were tossed into a river to drown by their father and was rescued by the She-wolf goddess Lupa, raised to be strng men, murdered Father(Karma) and founded 2 cites, One brother taunted the other, Taunted kills tuanter and decide to go on a conquest rage. The other is that the survivors of Troy(those who escaped) sailed away from Troy and land, conquered and founded Rome.

The historical nonsense in here is killing me...

                      Guys, please...

Romanians and Romans are not the same thing. One is a contemporary Balkan state and the other is an extinct antiquity civilization.
The Romans didn't descent from the Hellenics although some of the Roman cities were previously fully Hellenic settlements.
Troy is not mythological. Heinrich Schliemann is rolling in his grave. There is even partial evidence that the Iliad really happened.
The myth of Remus and Romulus is about the founding of Rome, not Troy. There is no historical evidence about who founded Troy.
Finally... Hellenics and Greeks are not the same civilization. They both inhabited the same lands but with 2k years apart. Hellenics gave way to the Romans who in turn gave way to the Byzantines who in turn gave way to the Ottomans who in turn gave way to the Greeks. That's five (5!) different civilizations for those who are mathematically impaired.

We don't know for sure that Troy exists, Heinrich Schliemann found what he assumed was Troy and it isn't known for definite. Plus we linked Romulus and Remus to Troy through the Aeneid, not the founding of Troy.

Nah, there is no need for a battle of any sorts. I get enough of it in-game. I said my piece, Keva added his. It feels like we came full circle.

The only thing I'm going to add is that Troy is like the theory of evolution or the BBT. The collaborating evidence is all there yet since it is by no means testable or verifiable, it remains a conjecture. The bottom line is that science requires itself to be sterilized; but sometimes, it just can't afford to be if we are to draw conclusions.

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to learning a bit more from the two of you.

I must admit I have heard of everything you said and know to put it into context. However I don't have any of that knowledge at easily at hand as the two of you.

Now I'd be really interested: the two of you...which God would you most like to see next?
