  • Please let me know if anyone is currently not matched in a War! Our belief is that we have a glitch which makes us tell people for one day (incorrectly) that they are not matched for the upcoming War. This only happens in certain scheduling circumstances.

    So if anyone is still seeing that they are not matched, please let us know! Our records seem to indicate that everyone is matched up and duking it out, but correct us if we have missed something.

    And thank you all for the lively discussion on daily Wars vs 2-day Wars! This is helpful.

      Hello Jay...
      I'd like to say that after a lot of these talks and discussion over here... 1 day wars should be back or there should be double the usage of Gods... You can definitely assert your own choice and maybe for the people who really care abt daily profit a lot(like me) you can give a fraction of the awards one would get of the base rewarding despite the result... After the first 1000 trophies are gained upon the usage of All gods twice

      Also Highly appreciate your efforts during this time... I believe that your absence meant more work for the AW wide release which makes me more and more curious and excited...

          Please keep in mind that the Alliance Wars feature is still in a testing state and there may be bugs present.           But, if you're up for the challenge and eager to be a part of shaping the future of Gods of Olympus, we'd love to have you. To join the Alliance Wars Early Access, simply have your Alliance leader use the in-game Email Support feature to let us know of your interest. Again, please make sure it is the Alliance leader who writes in, so that we can be sure they speak for the whole Alliance.

          The Early Access will begin some time in the next couple of weeks, a bit after version 4.9 ships.

          For those of you interested, we're thrilled to have you join us! Thanks for helping with the development of Alliance Wars.​

          Description of War

          Here is a high-level overview of War. There could be issues that cause us not to adhere to these behaviors, but this is a description of how things are intended to work.

          Each day, two Alliances are matched up in War.

          Once War begins, any player may attack any of their opponent's cities. Only one attack can begin on a given city at any time.

          Throughout the War, each god in your Pantheon may be selected for deployment only once. Once you select a set of gods to attack a city, those gods can't be used again in this War, even if you don't deploy them in battle. They will appear grayed out when you are planning future attacks.

          Damage you cause to a city accumulates from battle to battle. If you attempt to destroy a City but lose, any buildings that you destroyed will be removed, leaving the City more vulnerable to the next attack. This allows you to plan to take out very tough cities using multiple attacks if you feel that is the best strategy.

          Each City is worth a certain number of War Stars. When an opponent's City is destroyed, your side will be awarded these War Stars, increasing your team's score. The side with the highest number of War Stars at the end of the War is declared the winner.

          All alliances are ranked into a series of War Tiers for matchmaking purposes. These are represented with names like Stone 1, Stone 2, Gold 1, etc.

          You can be matched for War with any Alliance in your Tier or, if there are no opponents for you in your own Tier, another City from the closest neighboring War Tier.

          When you win a War, you will be raised by 1 War Tier. If you lose the War, you will be lowered by 1 War tier, making fluctuation pretty normal (unless you are at the very top of very bottom.)

          About 15 minutes after the match ends, we will send out the rewards you have earned in the War. In order to get rewards, you must participate by attacking in the War. To maximize rewards, you should make sure to use your entire Pantheon to support your Alliance in the goal of maximizing your War Stars.​

          • Hi all! Quick schedule and reward update.

            The Early Access will now be returning to a daily War schedule! Beginning today, you should begin to see a War starting each day. And each of these Wars will last for 23 hours.

            War Rewards have also been adjusted. Each 1-day War will pay less than each 2-day War, but will pay more than the previous cycle of 1-day Wars. (Rewards have been increased by 20% over the previous 1-day Wars.)

            This also means that total weekly rewards for players who participate each day will be higher than the 2-day War schedule that we have been on.

            Hope that's pretty clear, but please let us know if you have any questions!

              not sure if this is still relevant. But we at Dingens haven‘t been matched on 31st of may as well as the week before the one day multiple Players already reported on that.

              we also welcome the Return of Daily AW while we would appreciate the Bonus would stay the same as for 2 day AW.

                      • I noticed an interface tweak that could be made. If an opponent does not have a full alliance, there is a ton of blank space above their top bases. Like pages of blank territory. Would be nice if the map stopped right above their top base.

                        And thanks for the switch back to 1 day wars!

                          Yeah lol sometimes you are kinda lost in the space there trying to look for the base you hit
                          Can the notifications of The Alliance war defences come saying that they are attacks of the Alliance war? Please?

                            Do we know what happened to Thanatos weekly challenge, I noticed it came before Hecate weekly challenge and now has gone. Is it coming back anytime soon?

                              i think it was a teaser thing and they removed it because it was still buggy. I believe it will be released in the major update after alliance war is officially released.

                              • Why aren't the stars awarded uniform based on the level of the base you are attacking? In our current war (RDS 2.0), we get 11 stars if we defeat a level 95 base. But our opponent gets 24 stars for defeating one of our level 95 bases.

                                I assume this is some kind of war balancing mechanism? Why not let all bases of a certain level be worth the same number of stars for everyone? The current system seems unpredictable which makes it frustrating.

                                The different war league levels should be all that's required to get different alliances moved to a level that's competitive for them.
