For the official one it can be 3 days long with 1 day break between one war and the other? It would be a good balance imo.     Good question -- we are still working out how we want the final war schedule to be! This kind of feedback helps us do that.

    One thing I can tell you before we settle on a schedule is that we'll be shooting for a consistent schedule week-to-week. The idea is that we'll be trying to get Wars to always happen on the same day of the week so that folks know what to expect each week. Can't promise we won't change things up from time to time, but this is the goal!

      Also, it’d be nice to see actual Alliance names in the Alliance ranking… who is Ambrosia 5, Gold 5 etc. This has been blank since day one.

      We have fixes rolling out for the alliance ranking issue to our servers, and if all goes as planned they should be available everywhere late tonight / early tomorrow morning.

      The Past Wars issue can't be fixed quite as swiftly but will be taken care of in the next app update! [Edit: I'd forgotten that the issue with the Past Wars battle history tabs will come with our next app update]

        This was a really interesting one! We found the player that you mentioned in this post and the issue was just as you described for them. They had an interesting quirk in their setup that left War treating them as if they had no Temples at all (and thus no Temples left to knock down, and thus treated as destroyed!)

        A fix for this is rolling out and the issue should be corrected by the start of tomorrow's War!

        Thanks very much for pointing this one out! This kind of thing is a big help.

          Good idea! A consistent weekly schedule would be great. Especially if let's say weekly challenge is Thursday -> Monday, alliance war can be Monday -> Thursday or something, that would work very well. Thank you again <3

          • I believe three weekly wars with adjusted rewards would be great. I hope total number of rewards would not be less than the current total 7-day rewards. They should be equal or a bit more if you feel generous

            • A suggestion assuming you're wanting people to spend more gems. Set the Alliance war upgrade of resources to 50 gems for the same resources of 10-15 million per war for victory / loss. Then reset the daily challenges back to level 100, that will allow us to gain more resources daily. I see you've been implementing and changing things associated with what people are currently suggesting, I hope this becomes one of them. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

              • Maybe they can have like 150 gems for 30m or so, considering that it's now an equivalent to otherwise 3 wars...

                    This should only happen in the tutorial (that you do not have the move all gods together button). Where else does it happen?

                      It happened this morning in one of my Alliance war attacks.. I didn't have the button to move two gods together. I just used two gods for the attack.

                          It's always been that way when 2 gods or less. Really been annoying and just thought it was supposed to be that way.

                          • A couple of quick news items as we continue zeroing in on how we want War's final version to function!

                            First, some news on rewards in War! [Edited for clarity] Rewards for individual Wars have been increased by 50%, while War frequency has decreased from 7 to 3 per week (see below!) The overall effect is that:
                            • Rewards per war are higher
                            • Rewards per Gem from boosting are higher (since you are boosting much bigger rewards each time)
                            • Rewards per unit of passing calendar time are lower (since you are only doing 3 Wars per week rather than 7)

                            The changed War rewards will not be in the current War, but will be active in the War which begins tomorrow (May 17th.)

                            We've also got some news to share about our War schedule in Gods of Olympus. Up until now, Wars have been held daily and only lasted for a day. The every day schedule was great for getting lots of action in and getting frequent feedback on how well the feature was working, but we heard from many of you that this was a little too demanding and challenging to keep up with every day. We'll be scaling the frequency back for the remainder of the test for War (as well as for the official release.)

                            Starting with tomorrow's War, Wars will now last two days instead of one. Wars will begin three times a week on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. This means that most days (Monday's the exception) there will be a War going, but players will have two days to participate in a given War.

                            While we’re still fine-tuning, we think this War schedule and War reward formula resemble the settings we'll use for War's official release.

                            As always, we’re open to your feedback, and we hope you like these new updates! Thank all of you again very much for playing the War feature, giving us your feedback, and helping us make it better and better!​

                              honestly I think that's a perfect schedule for the war thanks so much for the hard work and good luck on the finish however do u have a date yet 4 the final release

                                I think the two day war is much better. One thing I’d like to bring up is that while we have a big alliance perhaps less than 40% are actively fighting in aw, some daily others when reminded. Is there anyway in the near future that a feature could be added that only players who want to participate are involved?
