The new release will likely be out tomorrow if things go as planned.

As another small change, newly purchased gods will now start out at overall level 1, instead of overall level 2. (This was always a little weird). What this means to you is that all your gods will be one level lower than they were before, but they will be exactly the same stats as they were before. It is just a cosmetic thing really.

Also, the Hero Academy is the same thing as the Amphitheatre, and has the same price. If you already have an Amphitheatre, congrats, you already have the Hero Academy! You might want to tap on it to upgrade your hero to something more useful.

Note that you can only build a single Hero Academy (for now), and a Hero Academy can only choose a single hero. Choose wisely! (It is OK though, the heroes are pretty tough. ) Hopefully we will be able to provide some more heroes in the future so there will be one which can suit each player's particular defensive style.

Having Perseus would be nice as well.

This sounds awesome! I can't wait to try each of the different Hero's and see what they do!

I'm also really excited about being able to upgrade the stone and gold statues
"Legion of Tartarus". They're so hot right now

Will heroes be affected by bonuses from gods?

Update is out, everyone. I must say, the more I look at it, the more I realize the developers really emphasize the importance of basing the game on the actual myth. Demi God is suppose to be half human half god. So it is exactly that in the game.

Hercules might be a tough son of a gun, but he runs like a big goober. (Don't tell him I said that).

Heroes are strong enough on their own,why can they be boosted by houses? My Herc has 350k life, hits 25k and his special deals 30k damage.Seems totally balanced.

I don't expect us to ever *not* allow boosting from houses. If they prove to be too strong, we would likely just pull down their stats appropriately.

We will likely have a minor 3.11 release to fix a couple of minor bugs that we found in testing 3.10. Perhaps some balance tweaks if necessary in 3.11 as well.

4.0 will most certainly be our biggest release ever. Not giving out any details yet though.

Nice update, but it feels like heroes are too op, so far. Hercules kills gods in one hit if they are together. Or if its apollo environment heroes heal themselves and become almost immortal.
