Atlanta will be number 1 if persius is nerfed.

She needs certain adjustments though to be favourite. She needs to stay away from gods fire. She holds her ground. Certainly not smart, looses her range boost as soon as green temple down so she comes too close to gods. Needs range boost too.

Percius just melts himself on hera revenge even faster than gods. I dont get it. He is using Medusa head on gods then how he keeps getting kick back from revenge? When he attacks directly that is when he should get damage from hera revenge.

Personally I enjoy the most when paris shocks Athena when her shield is down. That is the only time in the battle when defence gets some chance to kill gods else no way.

yes I could see the combo working well, at my level it's single hero bases still, I mostly attack up to level 97 bases.

Perseus is just overpowered. High HP, high damage, high speed, doesn't get distracted, and his ability melts Athena even with shield... not to mention if any of your supporting gods behind Athena get within his gorgon circle for 0.0000001 seconds theyre basically as good as dead.

Theseus is only overpowered because of centaurs. Because centaurs don't have busted stats and pink and gray houses don't give enough boosts, so we have Theseus to buff their stats even more.

Hera isnt even a reliable tank now so heroes countered by Hera wouldnt be a hindrance
This is why I see bases that do well have Perseus and Theseus. Then the third is either Atalanta or Paris.

Interesting to hear, at my level (83) Hera is everywhere and dominates, she dismantles bases so effectively that to have any chance at outsized defense trophies you need to build a base designed around countering her. At level 83 I don't have the stone to cover every square of space with high level buildings and luxury defenses like gorgon towers and spartan academies (I don't have access to centaurs yet). And with one hero Hera's revenge just kills most of them within seconds.

I'm guessing you're in the 100's? I've rarely seen attackers on my base (who only go as high as around 97) show such micromanage skills that they can simultaneously push through a base with 4 gods, while holding Athena solitary to stall out Achilles. Not sure how "When singled out, Achilles is easily dead" works? If he's positioned appropriately so he has support from troops/towers/monuments he can hold out very long, with high level pink houses on him, long enough that the supports whittle away the gods very quickly.

I've been killed by Theseus before in a well-designed Hades environment, otherwise he's been easy to counter. I could see him being a beast with lots of centaurs though.

Maybe Atalanta works well on high level bases, on my base she's dead in the first 10 seconds. If I place her deep inside my base away from the edges then attackers use Kraken to open a hole to drop Hera, if I put her on edge then they just drop Hera in front of her and she's dead in about 3 seconds. There's the very rare attacker who doesn't prioritize her early on and if they leave her to snipe at the gods she can take them out very quickly, but most attackers on my base always try to take out the hero as a priority. On a high level base where you can have two heros then Hera can only really deal with one, so she could work if she's allowed to live, and can hide within a giant base, but outside of those high levels she's absolute garbage, I really like her and had her before her recent buff, but I just couldn't justify the cost of all that stone on something that melts itself in 3 seconds for virtually no gain. At least Achilles stalls and distracts the gods, usually helps waste their specials, giving my base a chance to kick into high gear and provide some value. For instance they attack with slow time and kraken, but instead of going around destroying a quarter of my base easily in the first 20 seconds of the match, they're instead having to waste time dealing with Achilles, with his 400,000 hitpoints and 78.5% damage reduction. I don't even care if he does much damage to the gods themselves, I just want him to be a nuisance doing chip damage with a ton of annoying hitpoints that take forever to kill.

You don't need to micromanage against Achilles actually. Just put Athena in front of him and all the other troops then your 4 gods behind her will attack.

What I mean by singling him out is instead of attacking Achilles, your 4 gods will attack and clear all the troops out until Achilles is the only one left. Since he basically deals no damage on his own, it's easy to kill him without scratch.

And yes, you have a point on Hera being a beast on bases below level 100 which don't have enough boosts to insta-kill Hera. I also agree with atalanta not being that good on bases with a single hero. Bases need a tanky hero first before adding a ranged support hero.

However, you said yourself that Atalanta melts the gods if they don't take her out early on which speaks volumes on how overpowered she is. Maybe your attackers know just how much of a threat she is that they target her first instead of destroying temples, making her seem useless.

I'm level 110+ by the way, so we attack very different bases

Honestly, Perseus and Atalanta are the strongest heroes. I just can't ignore Theseus and Paris because (you guessed it!) centaurs.

One little stun on shieldless Athena, and you can say goodbye to your 5 gods and 20 trophies
