I usually try to freeze those I can reach with tisiphone and when I do requiem and advance to the middle of the base remove them either with the Melee gods (if the gorgons are near) or alecto fire ball if troops haven't destroyed enough buildings. But usually it depends on the number of gorgons. With 8 or more gorgons they will probably kill me before I can remove them. With 5 or less gorgons I can manage with freeze and fireball

Thats why they should add one like those
