Lol I don't know put I'll throw some money in there if it's a good one.
Hopefully we get alliance wars and/or Demeter, and nerf Perseus .
Also do something to the dog. He only barks and barks.

We won't get alliance war since I think Leroy already said that it isn't.

No one knows but I'll put some money if we get Dionysus and/or Hephaestus and he's/they're good.

Think its something new but nothing game changing. Perhaps a new hero thats mediocre.

If the minor update includes Dionysus and/or Hephaestus, that would be great.

I really hope its NOT new gods, as much as like the idea of playing demeter/hephastus/diony, adding more clutter and chaos by expanding the pantheon by 30% is a serious turn off to me and just sounds rather tedious.

Clan wars is great and all but i’d rather not open pandoras box on that just yet. And make no mistake that very much WILL be opening Pandora’s Box. The game will never be the same after that, and it may be for better or WORSE. I estimate thats where alot of the Dev teams hesitation comes in. I personally don’t feel like the typical alliance war format they use in other games will serve GoO very well. The easy going, relatively consequence free, “win-or-lose-who-cares” nature of this game basically dissolves once you implement high-stakes alliance combat for, say, control of territories on some new-fangled World Map. Likely for some kind of resource bonus to the victorious alliance? No thank you.

Not only unoriginal, but it leads to the usual pay trap. Now the high level alliances trash eveyone. Then, after they finish trashing everyone, the ultra-high levels and gem-whale accounts all concentrate into several yet more godly clans. These proceed to dominate utterly and then eventually stagnate into a set ranking hierarchy. Everyone else just feeds off what scraps the Elites dont want.

That’s a rather desolate and depressing Alliance ecosystem for such a bright and fresh game. One i think they seek to avoid. But it makes for quite a conundrum. Right now, on the trophy system we are relatively spared from this, once we go ovwr to direct alliance conflict a real solution has to be found to avoid this problem. Otherwise we end up as just another Clash of Clans or Rogue Assault.

I think there should be more people testing updates before it comes out to avoid bugs appearing after updates and better test out new things

Im fine with adding more gods as long as there is a limit to the maximum #. I say 12 since, canonically speaking, there was generally 12 gods in the olympian pantheon. But that number can be whatever. Having a swath of gods to choose from to fine tune strategies is fine, but we need to stop all players from having access to all gods. That promotes strategy.

Have people even defined what they mean when they say Alliance Wars? Like specifics, not just vague statements. What exactly are we wanting when we say this? I'd be fine with or without it, personally.
