  • Underworld alliance powers

    I think we can all agree that most underworld alliance powers are useless, and that assisting underworld attacks rarely helps the player attacking as we can do nothing unless there's an isolated unguarded temple. So I will suggest a few changes to underworld alliance powers that might help making assisting better.
    1) an underworld version of hera warriors is very much needed. So what about alecto's alliance power(which is maybe the most useless thing in the game) become some skeletons equiped with firebombs that, on death, explode the same way hera warriors do?
    2) persephone's alliance power may be used a bit, but replacing it with a heal similar to Apollos might solve the problem of the uselessness of assisters.
    3) tisi's freeze is better than some, but (opinion) making the freeze apply to buildings too is a good solution. Like make it freezing troops in a small region or if we press the power on the building freeze that building instead. (that's a solution too for the gorgon problem considering the tower doesn't have posy's shield)
    4) I honestly don't have a good solution for megaera's power, but maybe make it stronger at higher levels? (same to awe, we only use it
    When assisting low levels). Or maybe replace it with something else, like put some megaera troops that on death poison all troops around them(poison the same way plague does, not mega's second power)
    On the other hand, the skeleton portals are very good, and I think shades and banish are as good as they can be
    What do you guys think? Would love to hear your comments/opinions

    Great ideas but imo
    1 instead of vengeance warriors have alectos ability buffed but also have it destroy buildings as well
    2 I don't have perysphone (yet) so no comment on that
    3 that could become too op if you have like 6 assisters freezing all the buildings that does high damage output
    4 again could become too op if you keep dropping those troops by spawner buildings so every troop dies before they can even reach the gods themselves

      If freeze stacked on each other to eventually freeze a building, it wouldn't become OP. Like, if one "layer" slowed it by 10%, it wouldn't freeze a building until it had been hit 10 times. Just keep in mind, the more players assisting, the weaker a power's use is.

      Meg's power is just so short lasting and small in area that it's almost pointless to use. Good for slow moving mobs, but that pretty much limits its use to shades, which, banish does a better job in a larger range.

      Fireballs need to do more damage, hit a larger area, or cause residual burning effect. They are too weak to be of any real use.

      I dont think Ive EVER used Persephone's alliance power and I've had all of them unlocked for quite some time now. Needs replaced in my opinion. With what? No idea.

      Portals need to last longer. I may easily be wrong on this, but im pretty sure the number of skellies dropped from a portal is pretty equal to the number dropped with the standalone power. If it isn't, the difference isn't near as noticeable as with hoplites/archers and their tents.

      I dislike shades so much. Im completely biased. I think a madness power would've actually been better/more useful.

      For sure though, definitely need some beefier alliance powers in UW. Needs a beefier troop, period. While skellies are my favorite troop, nothing that UW offers stands up to a cyclops tower.

          The Persephone power really isn't all that great. Heal would be ideal, but then you're copying OL too much... though one could imagine a very mild heal that works in an area instead of a single target. Might not be a bad idea to have a Rebirth-style power that works on just troops also.

          In a separate post, i offered the possibility of creating elementals as a troop/alliance power to offset the lack of troop diversity in UW. Since some view elementals as spirits, thematically speaking, it would fit with UW.

              NOOOO! 😭😭 Please dont take away my Grow power. I an literally using it constantly. It is FAR from useless, completely OP in the right hands in fact.

              You guys do realize that Gods, troops, and VILLAINS can be buffed by Grow. That includes skills such as Fireball, iceblades, Plague, friggin meteor storm, etc, etc.

              On the defensive end, I constantly screw over attackers by Growing my Minotaur at inopportune times >

              If people would actually coordinate their assists properly it would be devastating. Just imagine 5 assisters stacking grow at the same time on top of Persephone’s Grow, and then casting ultimates?!?!

              YES it does stack with persephone’s grow!
              USELESS?!?!?! Yall must have gone crazy.

              With that said many of the UW powers are in serious need of rework, i can get behind alot of the ideas here. Freeze really does need to be able to effect buildings.

              And obviously Poison is COMPLETELY useless. THAT is a useless skill.

              As far as Fireball. I fail to understand the thinking behind a smaller, weaker attack relative to Lightning zap, when it will be facing Olympus troops with higher base HP and numbers. Complete insanity if you ask me BUFF NOW.

                Fireball need a change. It does less than a pixel of damage to temples and can hardly kill any troops.
