Although I play him just to up my count. I will stop from there though or just use Underworld as an Ambrosia mine. Olympus on the other hand is close to equal and is much more preferable since I have 6 to choose from. I care for its gods way more. I'm on my way to making Apollo as strong as he is. Anyway, why so few male characters in the Underworld? Surely there are a lot they can choose. Thanatos and Hypnos for example. Also, I would love if there was also a Titan version. Dibs on Hyperion and Helios.

Why not? Do you ask people why red is their favorite color?

I don't understand. How are there 3 males when I'm seeing 6 names on your post for the underworld? We can count Hermes out since he's an Olympus god so that makes it 5 males. Probably we'll save Cronus for a possible Titan expansion also. That leaves us with Hypnos and Thanatos.

For Olympus, the last ones we don't have are Dionysus, Hephaestus and Ceres. I think Hephaestus and Dionysus would offer very unique gameplay.

I only want to/prefer to play female ones, why do I get hardly any choice for Olympus? There's only one female hero too. I'm not taking the mickey out of you, I genuinely mean it.

                  What a pointless thread.

That's because there is hardly any female hero in Greek mythology. lol. Whereas we have a variety of options male Underworld gods. If you want female heroes, go play some other make-believe game, not something based around Greek mythology.

Umm close-minded doesn't mean what to like and what not to like. It means being intolerant of other people's opinions.

Technically untrue. The definition according to merriam webster: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dict.../closed-minded

"not willing to consider different ideas or opinions"

Being tolerant and willing to consider are two different things. For example, a thinker might consider every idea he hears and then settle on one to the point where he is intolerant of any disagreement. That's person is open-minded but intolerant. Conversely, for example, a supreme court justice who goes into the discussion room with the intent to convince the other justices of his position but has already cemented his own, is closed-minded, but quite tolerant.

They might commonly come together, but they are not the same thing.

                          Nope, that is wrong.
An open-minded but intolerant person is someone who is willing to hear what you have to say but if he deems it incorrect, he will convince you to think otherwise.
On the other hand, a close-minded but tolerant person is someone who, once figures out you have an opinion he disagrees with, will stop listening but will allow you to have that opinion.

                            Oh, the irony. :P

My experience is otherwise. Intolerant people tend not to try to convince others. You either agree with them or are not worth talking to.

In Greek mythology, the representation of female characters in the Underworld version may stem from creative choices, storytelling considerations, and the influence of mythology. While the Underworld primarily features male deities like Hades and Charon, the inclusion of characters such as Thanatos and Hypnos would provide more male options. It's worth noting that game developers often aim for diversity and inclusivity. In Greek mythology, Prometheus god was known for his role in creating humanity and stealing fire from the gods. While Prometheus is not directly related to the underworld, his significance in Greek mythology is undeniable.

Thanatos seems to be next. He seems to be male. New character for UW is better than nothing.
