As someone who plays male characters only in every game, I find this very frustrating. The only males are Hades and Charon. Cerberus is a dog so he doesn't count. Although I play him just to up my count. I will stop from there though or just use Underworld as an Ambrosia mine. Olympus on the other hand is close to equal and is much more preferable since I have 6 to choose from. I care for its gods way more. I'm on my way to making Apollo as strong as he is. Anyway, why so few male characters in the Underworld? Surely there are a lot they can choose. Thanatos and Hypnos for example. Also, I would love if there was also a Titan version. Dibs on Hyperion and Helios.

Why does the Underworld version contain more female characters?

Because men (males) can be cruel, mean, heartless, despondent, callas, etc…..
But only women can be truly Evil.👍 2 -
What? I don't think Greek Mythology's underworld was necessarily associated with evil. Anyway, I hope they create a Titan version and fill that lineup with males.👍 1Comment

Just so you know, there are 12 titans. Half are males, half are female. Also, counting Cerberus as a male, there are exactly 9 males and 9 females. There are 6 males and 4 females in overworld, and 3 males and 5 females in underworld. So, there actually are an equal number.👍 2Comment

And That's why I like Olympus better. We have 6 choices for males. Only 2 choices in Underworld. Although, you need 4 - 5 to at least be competitive mid-game.Comment

With very little search i have come to the following conclusion :P
Overworld should consist of the 12 olympians: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Olympians
The first 11 are 6 male and 5 female. And depending on the twelfth, it either ends up as 7 male and 5 female, or 6 of each.
The underworld, however, https://www.theoi.com/greek-mytholog...orld-gods.html
Male: Charon, Cronus, Hades, Hermes, Hypnus, Thanatos
Female: Hecate, Nyx, Persephone,
Erineys (Furia, Furiae, Dirae)
Moirai (Fatum, Fatae, Parcae)
Meaning, 9 female and 3 male.
If this means anything, the overworld should be about even, whereas the underworld should be 3 to 1 female.Comment
