  • I'm just saying that a group of playable heroes would be neat and somewhat balancing of the mono and slow push strategies. It would also encourage defending your own city, which, I know for some is tedious.

As an added bonus, you could use the group to defend both OL and UW since the vast majority died at some point or visited the UW throughout greek mythology.

    • But their stat is more godly than the gods

      • With boosts from environment, temples, and houses, yes they are. Their base stats are not that much different and have a wide range similar to the gods' wide ranges. Thus, those ubergodly stats are a matter of strategy, not necessarily a development issue. My Theseus and Herc have obscene health and attack after bonuses are totalled, but my city still loses to Posy and Arty patrons due to faster moving gods. That's strategy. Your statement isn't a good defense. Some buildings have higher stats than the gods. So what? You're going to have that. Especially when some of the gods have very low health or attack, like Arty for instance, yet she can dominate a board easily.

A point I'm gonna make here is, if they nerf em all like y'all seem to want, then give me access to all heroes throughout the level spectrums.

        • Ik thats why make them base stat much stronger as replacement they dont receive boost and bonuses. Make Paris health around 250k max level achilles 500k max level ect.

          • Mono god attack becomes too much easy. And now it’s the only way to win. I only play this game in slow push, and this is no more possible to play this game with fun.
Too bad to see how this game is turning on.

Idea is simply to sell them to everyone and once its done launch something else and nerf previous update(heros in this case).

Remember paris with ability to freeze multiple gods. We didn't have to tell them he is OP hero. Obviously they knew that but then only few people will buy him in case he was like the way now.

Same way new heros, they needed to be 3 times weaker(in order to keep them equal to 1 hero) but that won't happen at launch. Just 1 hero in the game and slowpush became unbelievabley irritating. 3 strong heros and slowpush became out of question for many. Who is going to buy them if heros are balanced right at the beginning. They should be attention seeking right at the beginning then nerf will be happening later. I dont think they didn't know the fact that heros are overpowered but that's marketing strategy.

Eventually these 3 heros will be nerfed and something more overpowered will come in.

Well, I am not saying thats wrong being a marketing person in real life. we also do those things for fast revenue generation.

Just few more days and slowpush will be possible again in my opinion.

For now stay irritated you slowpush people😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣
Logic makes sense here. Will unfortunately be a little longer than a few days I think...paris' reign was several months before he was nerfed into what he is now. I'd expect the same for newest heroes. Can't wait till devs are done with the cash grab and rebalance somehow, hopefully I'm not burnt out by then to see it. The strategy I've played for years is now nerfed into oblivion.

RIP slow push. In hindsight, I wish I would have just argued for an arty nerf like the rest of the forum...bc the "creative workaround" ended up being way worse.

Frustration after the initial heroes were introduced, then ppl quit en mass after paris.....curious as to what logic led to the thought that more heroes was the solution??

What would you think instead of heroes as a "playable pantheon" for defense instead? One where you could unlock all of them eventually like we do the gods... If the defending city's player isn't present, no heroes.

Also, don't give up hope on creative workarounds. They're still better than "everything needs a nerf."

                • It will be cool if the environment temple will have the god defending it instead of so many hero in the game.

                  • Also why can't the dev just make a super cool skin with an event to get it for a limited time before going in the shop for a expensive price like how they do so in mobile legend where it work very well.

My first thought was "who cares about skins" ...but honestly I'd prefer that style of money grab over the status quo of:

-> Introduce ridiculous content hoping ppl will buy it, alienate half the player base while the other half has a field day, nerf said content, rinse and repeat but cater to the opposite half of player-base the next time.

If you see me in game, I'll be tanking trophies and practicing mono 😜 tired of banging my head against a wall trying to slow push.

Sounds like it'll incentivize defending. Not sure there's a huge demand signal for that, but there was zero demand signal for a playable UW either and here we are!

sounds like it could be cool, particularly the "if the defending city's player isn't present, no heroes" part! 😎

That cash grab strategy worked super well in mobile legends and it gave absolutely no disadvantage for people that didn't pay.

                          • Hi just want to say goodbye to all I have played with over the years. I just don’t enjoy this game at all anymore. Maybe I needed to adapt but just can’t. Thank you for those who played with integrity - I enjoyed the many battles.

                            take care

                            • Why are devs hell bent on making the game more defensive and harder for average players to play ?. Heck even money does not seem to make game play any easier. Who wants to buy gems for extra attacks, when they can’t even win with the four free attacks. If your business plan is catering to the whales only, wrong approach. You will make a lot more money from the masses selling smaller bundles and making attacking easier. Decouple trophy ladder from normal game play. Many of us do not care to push trophies. Remember defense wins championships, doesn’t make you money . BTW It’s a fun game and thanks for keeping it alive, now only if you can make this a bit more attacker friendly.
