  • Overpowered Heroes, and Update comments

    Since no one has commented anything about the heroes in this update, I will vent.

    1. 3 heroes should have been allowed starting at lvl 140. This should have been for the highest players in the game who put in the most time playing and money.

    2. Slow push players get punished with this update ( don’t care what you say, it’s a fact). Monogod players benefit as they are able to avoid all good defenses in a city with their tactics.

    3.Simply put, the three newest heroes needs major nerfs. They are way overpowered. I don’t mind losing but you have made this game ridiculous to the point it no fun to play.

    4. Now I attack players 25 lvls below me which is stupid and at the rate the heroes melt my gods, I will be attacking players in the lvl 100-115 range😂 Spending gems to attack for mediocre loot, stick it where the sun don’t shine.

    It also don't make sense how a 3 demigod can kick 10 god ass in slow push. And the max hero should just be 2 hero not 3.

      I don't get why defense kept getting buffed in a much faster rate than offense. The fun in the game is within attacking and making offense weaker is taking away the entire point of it being a game to entertain players around the world.

        You were both saying attack and defense was imbalanced just weeks ago. Doesn't this update provide that balance?

        (I totally agree by the way, but am honestly just surprised to see how this thread is going so far)

            Agreed. It did almost no balance in lower level and a huge nerf on offense in higher level.

              Personally, I don’t think there’s too much problem tbh :P Maybe few tweaks like giving Theseus recharge time like I commented on other post and maybe giving Atalanta small nerf on health. But I don't think it’s as disastrous as both of you make it out to be. And DEFINITELY not limit 3 heroes to only 140 and above, that’s like 10 people or something in the entire game xD

              But I agree completely about Mono part, maybe some sensible restriction should be introduced to balance things between Slow Push and Mono. This hero update hurt Slow Push much much harder, that’s for sure.

                Theseus is too powerful. I did an attack against juice, took 4-5 key temples and 2 heroes in the first wave. Just had Theseus left. Tried to slow push but my hera had very little health at the end, my alliance friends healed me and saved me. Like i had the best possible route in my opinion but still it was too hard, what else I could have done?

                      Not so much for Perseus, I personally haven't seen much of him for whatever reason. I'll leave that for someone else to provide.

                      I'll add a slightly different opinion on theseus. I don't have any issue with his recharge/duration (that there isn't one)...just think he has too much health. takes far too much time/effort to take him down.

                      Also think its worth mentioning that achilles is an absolute beast at the moment vs slow push. Sure there was a -10% health reduction but the +13% dmg reduction basically negates that for him and the +25% str made him a beast. he completely negates the purpose of hercules in my opinion, as he is now. would recommend he either be slower than molasses or possibly reduce his strength to he doesn't pack as much of a punch.

                      Also, does theseus' boost encourage other heroes?

                      Would love to brainstorm ways to make additional hero implementation have equal effect to mono players -> who are currently having a field day while slow pushers bang their heads against a wall.

                        Does perseus has an animation power like gorgons? Maybe the troops or gods he affects with his ability should change color for a little while because I have no idea what he attacks.

                        theseus is way too healthy. He needs a little nerf because the health with his buff is too much.

                        I do think Atalanta is very weak. She died so so so easily all the times I faced her that I don’t really know the point on using her.

                        I also think that the levels the new heroes are given is a little off. Second hero should be unlocked at 110 and third hero at 140. It’s just makes more sense to have a second hero at 110, 5 levels after you unlocked all gods powers.

                        do you guys have a way to separate the damage between the heroes? I’d like to see which hero did more and less damage to try out the best combination between them.

                        overall I like it the update, it gave a lot of new strats to attack but it needs a little more balance here and there to make it possible to attack with more patrons. (Paris health nerf is really approved. Not that much hard to kill now).

                        loot penalty to attack lower players should be rethinking, it comes to a point that everyone is a lower player, the more attacks you do with gems more expensive they get and you start to get less loot for it. Doesn’t make any sense.

                          I’m not sure about Perseus tho, cuz I haven’t had the moment when I thought he was too powerful beyond other heroes. Whether I’m attacking or defending. The only reason I use him as a defense is cuz I’m fan of Percy Jackson xD His ability could really do with some animation effect though. As people mentioned, his ability is kinda unclear and very unimpressive, as all he does is bend down slightly and that’s it.

                            And I agree with leo, I think it would be a good idea to have a separate number for each hero instead of having one number for heroes academy as a whole.

                              Perseus is pretty strong tbh. It 2 shot so many enemy hermes before they can hit the regroup in my base.
