    The newest update provides new content at lvl 90 and lvl 130.

    Good decision I think, a lot of ppl quit around those levels. Is it reasonable to ask for additional ways to gem resources? Or maybe more resources for defense wins?

    As a mid level (118), I really don't have any reason to buy packs. Even a level up pack - which I long considered the best value of all the packs - gets me like 130 mil gold/stone and 70k gems. Sounds great, until I realized that 130 mil is like 1 upgrade to 1 ability plus a spare 20 mil or so.

    And the 70k gems....what am I going to spend it on? I gem weekly/daily challenge rewards, and usually gem about 5-10 matches a day (in addition to nectar) .... but I'm still sitting at like 40k gems after 5-6 months.

    The level gap between 90-130 already takes forever.. with the addition of the 3d hero at 130+, you're effectively bracketing the mid levels to attacking other mid levels, reducing the resources they earn per attack -> keeping them mid level for even longer periods.

    If we are expecting more ppl to reach level 130 and beyond, is it reasonable to request more ways to use gems, or otherwise earn more resources? If we aren't moving that direction, then the lvl 130 mark really only gives new content to what, like 50 players? out of 1 mil+ downloads?

    Overall, happy with the direction the games going. just concerned that the 110-125 range is going to be the new "Valley of death" where ppl quit, and im right in the middle of it 😆

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts, there are still lots of amazing goodies to add in future updates!
    For now, there are unlock-able items in those ranges, level 100-105 gets a new god, additional temple and new ultimate, and there are some pretty significant hero levels and god power levels that are unlocked in the higher ranges.

      Good thoughts! I agree it would be good to fill out level holes with more content! We certainly plan on doing this going forward!

      You are totally right that the level 130 hero is extraordinarily difficult to obtain. It really is kind of a reward to the players that manage to make it that high.

      We also thought the level 90 hero was a nice good, rewarding spot to keep players moving towards that goal. Finding a nice combination of two heroes with different types of cities is really a pretty fun thing to play around with.

        Let us boost resources earned in battles with gems, should be easy to implement.
        And give players lv 169+ a fourth hero pls

          I'm excited to hear plans about future content. Hard for me as a player to think past the recent update as it just came out within the last 12 hrs or so, but glad to hear devs are already leaning forward.

          I'm more concerned with the "economics" at my level. Idk if gemming atk resources are the answer - definately a simple answer - but ultimately I just respecfully request a review of how to pull players in my level range back to being purchasing customers. I also understand the desire to avoid being labeled overly "pay to win" -> so I recognize the balance act.

          Im not sure what level it was for me, im sure there are player purchasing trends to analyze, but the cost/reward ratio is no longer advantageous for me as a customer. I'd swag that level to be somewhere in the 105-115 range.

          A level-up pack is $100. For that $100, I get about a 5-10% bump in level XP (so it'll take me about 1-2 weeks less time to level up), about 130 mil gold/stone, and 70k gems.

          The incentive just isn't there, for me personally. Like I said above, that's about 1 upgrade to 1 ability, and depending on what I upgrade on defense could mean like 1 house plus change or go towards saving for something bigger. And the gems...unless I just flush gems away by upgrading an ability, I literally can't spend them in any productive way. (this leads to the trend of farming lower bases btw...the only productive thing I can do with gems is atk constantly...if I'm going to atk 30-50x a day I want to do it quickly and want to win...so makes sense to drop first)

          Some random ideas that undoubtedly need deeper consideration:

          - Let us spend gems to reset the daily challenges? Reset weekly challenges?
          - Create some new challenge for us to spend gems for rewards?
          - Expandable campaign content (that somehow incorporates spending gems for resources)
          - As mentioned before, gemming attack rewards?
          - Some base feature akin to the resource buildings on your map that converts gems to gold/stone (like a currency exchange) -> though idk abt this, we can already spend gems as gold/stone so why add a step. Maybe add a time to it... invest 1k, 5k, 10k gems to the "bank" and have to wait 24 hrs (or scalable to amount invested) or something for increased rewards ratio?

            Those are some great thoughts, Rocko , thank you! Very useful perspective and nice ideas...

            BTW, there was a "Rocko" test account back in the day for Gods of Olympus, one of the very first I created. It was from well before the game's release on early, extremely primitive servers. Got a lot of use way back when! Just thought that was kind of neat.

              Ha, that is kinda cool. I retired my rocko moniker in the game, but would happily play on your rocko and give feedback if it's still around not getting usage anymore. I'll even do it pro bono 😉

                Rocko is right the reward is no longer sufficient. I agree I mostly used my gems on nectar and ambrosia. But I'm not planning on purchasing a lvl up pack bc it's not attractive enough ( the benefits). Your ideas are superb Rocko. Hope you seriously consider this devs.
