Hmmm or it could be like a certain area gets effected by such a infestation of weeds but these weeds aren't like rot they have a specific area and a timing and these will also effect the troops in that area

Not a bad option either...similar effect to rot, but tying troops up as well? I kinda like that...maybe slow rather than stop. However, I really want fixes for issues more than new content

Growing plant based attacks? Be cool to see little trees growing in a tower, then it bursts. Or ivy creepers overwhelming it, causing it to crumble to dust, like the troops turned to stone by gorgon
