After reading a little on these Spartans and trying them out for myself... I do see them as useless. I like the idea of being able to control our defenses too. That was a nice touch. Good to not have to wait as long for a new update, but you guys wanted feedback and people have been saying it. I did some math and well Spartans just dont give the value back. Im a puny level 107 with 10 billion stones. I made a new slot and maxed out 1 temple so then I have 10 billion stones left, then I was able to buy 39 hoplite academies and for a new base only 12 Spartan academies. I know you said its better to spread stones and of course it is, but when you do the math... theres 20 troops in 1 hoplite academy and they do 250 dmg (nonboosted). 20*39*250 = 195,000 dmg total, while the spartans there is only 19 troops in it and they do 500 dmg, so it is 19*12*500 = 114,000 dmg. Thats a huge difference, sure they dont get charmed, but they arent scary enough. I was still able to just use Hera against Poseidon temple while 12 Spartan academies were attacking her. Spartans were a great idea, but they dont seem to bring out their value enough for their price. They are a joke and useless. Its better to spread out your stones into making a max base first. Gorgons are alright of a tower. The golden number is 3 from what I have seen. Until someone is able to make a max base that takes all the space then its worth buying more. I though 1.2 billion stones was a lot for a max cap, but nice on the 4.8 billion on spartans. Gorgons were hard at the beginning, people just had them and then we figured out how to counter them and didnt need to nerf them, but with Spartans... no. one. uses. them. So why are they more expensive than gorgons if they bring less to a base? Spartans are a great idea dont get more wrong, its just the price isnt worth what they can provide. Hope this helps and if you disagree or want to point out something please say so.
