Serious question: Why do the Dev's no longer care about the game. Like at all?

Here are things which you can do to make weekly challenges more fun.

1- Give patrons to every rounds, even to rounds 20 and 21.

2- Stop reducing the level of hades requiem in round 20 and 21.

3- Stop increasing the recharge timer of gods in glass canons, solo gods, golden gods etc. If you don't understand what I mean then here's an example= the recharge boost of zeus, Poseidon and hades was 25% in round 19 of glass brothers challenge but, it suddenly increased to 65% in round 20. This makes the round 20 boring.

4- Dont make bases too buff, especially heroes and towers. They can literally one shot golden gods which doesn't make sense cause golden gods have lots of health.

5- Listen to the above points and implement them in the game.

Please do these things, and you will instantly see that lots of players will start to play gods of Olympus again.
another suggestion: local ranks. With smaller prizes. With a chance of ranking, more people would play

Wow as a person who loves this game, I am glad to see those developers' comments on this post. Looking forward to the next update and many other updates to come.

While we are on the subject XD it might be a good idea to add highlight? feature to the UW environment statue as they do on the OW environment temple.

Another idea.. why not include 'the unlimited levels challenge'... there are unlimited numbers of levels.. everyone does as much as he can. Each level comprises increasing gradual difficulty and rounds can go up to 30 for example... depending on the skill level of the player. The idea is to let users get more resources (with increased number of rounds), more fun due to gradual difficulty changes (not as it is) and increased life-span of challenge. As it is, the latter is sometimes over just after a mere hour of playing....not including last round attemps of course.

We do balance changes literally every release. We balance based upon both user feedback and in-game statistics. So if we hear that players are calling for, say, a Perseus nerf, we can validate that by checking hero usage/trophy rates. Similarly, if people think Adonis is worthless, we can validate that as well, and tweak accordingly (as we've done many, many times!) Centaurs are significantly weaker than when they were first introduced. Perhaps they still need to be nerfed more, but it is very clear statistically that they are not the same centaurs of old.
Truth to be told, I also think Centaurs have to be balanced to the point where we have an equal pick rate between Spartans and Centaurs, as they are both the same price.

And not including the old bases where old players picked Spartans and stopped playing the game since Centaurs came out, but only from the active bases where players designed after Centaurs came out. I think we should balance it to the point where we have an equal pick rate from those bases.

It is a fun idea but, as the base level increases the god levels must be increased too. Currently at round 20 we get 69 for 1st and 2nd powers and 79 for 3rd power which is close to max. So more levels of the gods must be made. And when that is done, the costs must be balanced as then to upgrade a single level might cost billions of gold.

The base level and difficulty would increase gradually as would the gods' level. The rounds could be alternated between olympus and underworld level as well if need be. But I am sure the devs would be able to create more levels for the challenge with a gradual build-up of difficulty. As it is, as soon as one arrives at round 17 there is a sudden increase in difficulty (most of the challenges)... I would make a gradual build-up in that difficulty thereby increasing the number of rounds.

I already suggested unlimited level challenge and some other ideas before. Never happened. Hope it happens soon.
