Hephaestus ideas

I think developers have their own ideas and even though they get a lot of criticism especially with centaur update I think they’re really ingenious and unique. I would never have thought to add troops like that but I love them, they were really just a little broken at first. Adding a god or gods would drastically change the balance but I know it will be incredible and true to the source material. Even this post I made while ago and I think it could be updated, like Hephaestus can have a cyberpunk city theme instead. I hope they continue working and making this game bigger. I hope they start advertising and making the community bigger because this game really deserves the recognition.

Yes indeed very well said mate just keep pushing the good idea as best u can and let us wait 4 them 2 get the AW out of the way first but it will def be good to c it all happen

I’ve been thinking about a kit for Hephaestus that isn’t op or useless and I think I finally got a good outline and would love your thoughts. I also hope that if Hephaestus is ever added that he’s rolling in a wheelchair or a crutch to stay true to his lore and for disability representation.

Hephaestus-Orange color scheme

Attacks- melee hammer

Abilities:

1. Dismantle-empowers hammer to cause boosted damage to structure, damaged structure loses function and damage, stops and nullifies temple and house boost on whatever structure he is attacking. Basically stops Hera explosions or Apollo healing. Kind of like Tisiphone ice blades and freeze but it only applies to one building.
2. Siege Machine-forages siege machines that shoot mid range cannon balls causing small explosions and boosted damage to structures (weaker than Apollo arrows but many can be spawned)
3. Automaton- summons an automaton that shoots a laser that causes ramping damage over time resetting when attacking new targets, a stronger triton basically

Temple-boosts tower and monument attack rate, ie.very fast arrows, fire balls, cyclops, lightning zaps, and more charms. Maybe doesn’t apply to troops so it isn’t too op

House-boosts adjacent tower and monument attack rate

Monument- summons siege machine

Alliance power- summons siege machine

Environment-mechanical city desert oil fields
