Mixing UW and OW is like mixing water and fire together.

No, any of those UW gods would've been great additions to the OL crew. Even Cerberus. Yes, you could have some uber-powerful combinations. That's a matter of strategy... That would be keeping with a strategy game. The sheer variety of combinations would've made it difficult to gauge what was overpowered and eliminate a lot of unnecessary nerfing and *****ing. Heroes MAY not have been soooo tedious. That's debatable. Mixing the two isn't bad at all. Now, I'd argue that patrons should be kept to just OL gods, not UW or any other that could be added in the future. But that'd be my argument and surely might garner some debate.Vi veri universum vivus viciComment

Lol was chatting with someone today and found that they attack only hard battles, specifically to avoid matching up with UW. They literally prefer to atk someone 30+ levels above them than an UW of comparable level.
I'm fine with UW as a game within a game kind of deal. But at this point they're too different to mix together. The future of olympus attacks will literally all be versus UW maps, when they level up accordingly, bc theyre so much stronger defensively....and that will officially kill off the game - for me at least.Comment

I approach my standpoint with the thought that the average level player plays 1v1 UW while waiting for 1v1 OL nectar... Like, why am I playing the same game mode to wait for the same game mode?Vi veri universum vivus viciComment

Unspeakable1 I was posting in general and didn't intend to detract from your posts. I don't disagree with what you're saying, only trying to emphasize how frustrating the current dynamic is.Comment

3 seperate leaderboards. olympus, UW, and overall. why not let ppl play that way? olympus only, UW only, or both?
similar to the other thread of level screening, im not sure how to implement it without matchmaking issues...but let the devs earn their paycheck. even if I knew the answer and proposed it, they'd prolly just ignore it and add 3 more UW heroes for ppl to buy anyway 🤣Comment

Great, you could leave the opt out option alone and those who don't want anything to do with UW could opt-out. options to appease everyone.

UW was supposed to be a different world but UW battles match more often with OW and a lot of defenses from UW. UW feels like it is in the basement of olympus base.
I suggest these changes to separate them better:
1. UW matches with UW more often.
2. No UW matches for players that have not unlocked UW or built an UW base; maybe have an opt out option for UW or let players manually unlock UW if they like instead of UW unlocking automatically on level 30.
3. Everything related to UW shows in UW like UW leaderboard, UW defenses & attacks. Do away with overall leaderboard.
4. Separate weekly challenge for OW and UW. UW challenge launches from UW only. Loot in gold or silver according to challenge.Comment

I still don't see how that would change UW innately. It's still 1v1 (+assists)... which is the literal same game mode as OL. It doesn't matter if there's more temples or new (often less useful) buildings. We are and would be still playing the same game mode waiting for nectar to play the same game mode. It needs a big time overhaul from concept first.Vi veri universum vivus viciComment

Really, UW should've been a different game mode entirely. Like a royale (1v1v1) or arena or SOMETHING different than 1v1. Takes away from OL. Incorporate the UW gods into the current OL pantheon with a max of 12 gods and a sell option via gems. Please players who want variety, give whale accounts more power at top end, and still make money via gems... Pretty simple logic.
Sadly, this is not applicable here. What is logic?
