My base have been absolutely destroyed by mono god and mostly uw player recently and I wonder what are some tip and tricks to build a base that can counter uw very well while not making it super vulnerable to mono god

I honestly don't think there is a way to defend against both, but then again, I don't know if there's really an effective means of countering monogod. High health, high shield, and high healing are needed for that to give towers and troops time to kill gods, but high explosion is also needed to take out UW. Eventually, UW will be rescaled. Early UW is super weak, but once you get all the gods, it becomes super powerful, capable of going against 10 temples. Even Aphro boosted heroes have a hard time standing against Hades' Requiem.Vi veri universum vivus vici -

Yeah I agree it should be rescaled. But in my personal opinion, I think Underworld should be a little bit weaker than Olympus (with 8 gods), even. Not just equal. Cuz in a way, they are like sub gods. Not main gods like Olympus. The only main god in Underworld is Hades. But right now, Underworld 8 gods are stronger than Olympus 10 gods xD You can see this from how mid levels from Underworld is able to hit so much higher on Olympus than it would've been possible with Olympus gods. So yeah, I agree. It should be rescaled.
But seriously, i must respectfully disagree on that. The gods of Olympus are in no way superior to the other 2 primary sub-pantheons of Hades and Poseidon. I can make this argument on a number of grounds, but i’ll just point out that from a purely tactical perspective, the Hadean forces could just collapse MT. Olympus into the depths of the underworld, then overrun them in the chaos. In the context of a war between pantheons, having absolute command over the Underworld itself is a formidable and underrated aspect of Hades’ power.

Easy equation. The monogod formula is dependent on being able to kill one temple with one god, high burst damage effectively stops it in its tracks. Put between 3-5 crossbows near each temple and your woes should disappear. If you can afford to boost them with houses thats even better. Flame cannons can also be used to fill the gap, but are not a true replacement in this regard.
Cyclops are the archnemesis of the dreaded Underworld rush, even just a handful of cyclops towers strategically placed can decimate the entire Requiem horde. 6-7 is usually sufficient, but you can get away with even less if you’re particularly cheap and clever.
Gorgon towers are your other bread and butter against undead swarms and slowpush in general.Once people can get them I always recommend at least 3-4. They’re also great for delivering burst damage when only a small number of units are on the field, so they will help solve your monogod problem as well.
Oh and as an afterthought, a well boosted and ranged odysseus is also quite effective against monogod. Though he does poorly against swarms.Comment
