First of all, the first god/goddess you should get is athena/athene. She is a great tank, and make sure to unlock the second ability. it increases her duration. but, inspiration is pretty much worthless, and the only good thing coming out of choosing her as patron is that if you have fully upgraded summon hoplites and boosted it 100%, it will summon about 100 hoplites. The second god/goddess you get (well, the second one you buy) should be one of the archer twins. Next, after that, get hermes, hera, poseidon, or aphrodite (on one of my other accounts I chose athena, apollo, and hermes). aphrodite can help you control the amount of enemy troops, while poseidon and hera are great damage dealers (water blast and absorbing strike increase damage). and, kraken and wrath are very powerful powers. But, after that, get poseidon or hera or hades (if you already have hera and/or poseidon, eliminate those choices and replace it with hermes and/or the other archer. Hades's cerberus is basically another powerful tank that you can't control, so it is very powerful. but, hades himself isn't that powerful, so... For defense tips, you should have plenty of academies (the main way you win at lower lvls is by swarming the enemy with troops). make sure you also have some towers to defend it (archer towers recommended). But, make sure you don't have too many barracks, since spartan academies will become useful later on. However, at high lvls, don't just cash in all of your buildings for a bunch of spartan academies (trust me, it doesn't work). The best two monuments, in my opinion, are the hermes and hera monument. they spawn four of their special troops every 4 seconds, making it more effective than an academy, and the monument has more health. However, don't have too many monuments on your base, unless you are like lvl 100 or something. Monuments are very expensive, and i recommend only about 3-4 monuments at intermediate levels (like, about lvl 45-80. Well, at lvl 80 you could have a few more monuments). if you really want to have an awesome base (though it's very costly), you'll need to spend THOUSANDS of dollars. the awesome base would be like an aphrodite temple in the center, and maxed out spartans everywhere else and maxed out monuments (but if you don't spend a single cent, you'll probably need to be like lvl 600 or something, if lvl 600 exists, that is). why is that super powerful? well, spartans are deadly. If there is anything else you need tips for, tell me.

My order will be Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Hades, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Aphrodite. And inspiration is insanely over power when combo with Poseidon

Athena is a great tank, and did you know with an inspiration, my kraken can take out an entire temple and Ares can with a single battle charge? Inspiration is NOT worthless. It gives a max boost of 110%, which makes all your gods as buffed as patrons for a while, and that's why it's for a low period of time. You gotta take out majority of the temples before it wears out.

ok, inspiration isn't exactly that bad, but, at lower levels, when it's not upgraded much, it's damage boosts and other boosts are not that strong. Well, I did this based on my new account. which is level 68. and, Inspiration was only upgraded to level 30.

Also, at high levels, artemis as patron is useful, as long as you shield her, since 400% boosted patron (max) combined with spread shot is very powerful.

Sure is. But everyone struggles at low levels. I'm struggling too, trying to keep my wrath-less Hera alive in battle. You eventually get over it.
