    8th God

    Hi guys.....This game had lost me ever since the Gorgon Tower update.....but I HAD to come back after I read about Heroes being added to the game.....So restarted on old account and came back to the forums too!
    Right now I would be extremely grateful for some advice for my 8th god...
    I would like to start with the price of the God and its Temple.......I am level 79(15%) and still have some time till level 80(new god). So what would be an ideal amount of savings in gold and stone to get me started good with this new god.... Currently I have 85,000,000 Stone and 160,000,000 Gold.... I dont think my Stone will be anywhere near enough, cause just buying 8 houses will take my 80,000,000 stone right now....
    Which brings me to my final query- I can buy Hermes, Aphrodite or Poseidon.... Im going for Poseidon but would someone suggest otherwise? Btw I just Pop bases 90% of the time(I know this strategy went down the drain with the dinosaurs, but its fun and challenging) And if a base is broken up i just Monogod it.....So according to this which God would be beneficial for me?

      Poseidon for sure, I'm surprised you didn't buy him yet. 72 million gold for 8th god if I remember correctly.

          Oh tysm mate! Poseidon was released 4 days after i purchased Hades as my 7th God! Any idea of the price of the temple?

              I'm sorry I'm not sure about the temple. It might be the same price as god, but not too sure.

                  Markers is correct 72 million gold for 8th God , 36 million to unlock his 3rd ability in level 85 and 72 million stone to build the temple.
                  Poseidonwull be the best choice in my view too 🙂

                      Poseidon is easily the best choice. He is good for both pushing and mono style of attack, Hermès is next on your list as you can regroup and get some gods out of trouble. Last Aphrodite is almost obsolete now, many pushers just use her to make a quick hole in the base and since heroes see through awe she can’t go invisible long enough to do damage to a temple, if you land her to close to a hero it’s almost instantly lost.

                          I'm level 99 and I don't see Aphrodite as obsolete, she is a key part of my attack still. I don't drop her at the start, she is used mid-late battle and I often have defeated their hero by then.

                          But I consider her to be a good finisher, but I think Poseidon is the way to go, water blast will make short work of someone like Hercules, especially if he can't heal any more. Poseidon houses are great not just for boosting building but Ares can't charge through them, ballista towers won't die instantly from Hera's revenge, and buildings are uncharmable.

                          I haven't unlocked Hermes yet, from a defensive side I reckon he will make Hercules much better as he is quite slow, units will swarm up on enemies faster. He can make your units more mobile and survive longer by giving them dodge, and he can become untargetable with his dash ability.

                              Oh tysm everyone! So till this point its Poseidon ive decided, and ive got 90,000,000 stone and 160,000,000.....Stone as you guys said imma need a lot more, but how much gold should i have?
                              I had saved for Kraken too, but lvl 85 for him came as a shocker!

                                  DM gave you the correct #s on costs. I’m torn between recommending Poseidon and Hermès, and have to say it depends on your attack style. Once I would have said Poseidon unquestioned, but he has been nerfed repeatedly, from a top #2 god to a middle of the pack imo. Whereas Hermès is my patron...but using him as I do takes a LOT of practice. I also agree with Mad Carrot, Aphrodite is not obsolete, but you must take more care with her than before. And finally the stone part of the savings is kind of moot, you can always build a new city and reapportion how you spend all the stone you’ve earned. And for judgement purposes I’m at 115 atm, and have everything well powered.

                                      Also, I would add to the Hoffs comment on environments, always have 1 more environment than what you use... and keep it empty. That way you don't have to spend a fortune on gems to rearrange everything, you can just copy and paste the empty one.

                                          Yeah you're right i guess Hoff bro,i remember he was super awesome in the beginning(Poseidon) and idk how hes now,but he seems to be likea must have for sure!
                                          Yeah madcarrot i think you mean Layouts..... I only have 2 atm, coz im saving ambrosia for the Poseidon environment, but will surely do as you said ,when i can afford it.

                                              Hermes as patron is extremely fun, and i bet you can do some amazing fights with him .I would definitely love to see a couple of those 🙂🙂 . . Used to use him a patron on my 90ish account too. I use him still on that account to do the Hera daily challange and i could beat ultimum level with him as patron in the past, his evadision skill was really handy but i don't know now if that would be possible now. Hermes is definitely one of my fav gods . I have him unlocked in all my accounts. i used to have a 50ish account , that i gave to a dear friend, that i had unlocked Hermes first followed by , Artemis , Apollo , Hades and finally Hera . I wanted to get Aphrodite as 6th God but it would be very difficult for me to win a battle with just Zeus and the 5 ranged powered Gods .

                                                  Yeah true! I just use Artemis to long shot a hole in the base, then drop Hera with absorb and athena with aegis and inspiration, then Zeus with slowtime, and ares with bloodlust and then wrath... I guess that gave you a pretty good idea of my attack style....
                                                  Now im torn between Poseidon and Hermes

                                                          Ohh yes the Kraken! But its at level 85......😢😥 Gotta wait too long....
                                                          Another question, I just plan to use 12 Poseidon houses around his temple.....Is it still worth buying his environment?
