Going through the top alliances of the classification, I find a very interesting one, it is called SON OSMALI THAT IS IN THE POSITION 74 of the best alliances of this game.
Well that alliance has only 8 active players, no generals, no captains, no leader, all in black. I know they say that in the not too distant future they will solve it, but an alliance in a 90% black that is in the classification is too much, we also have a similar situation to MEXICO BARBARO !! , 90% of inactive players and with a position insured today within the classification.
Again I say the same as always,
This game is very entertaining, it has many advantages that I have never found in any other game, but the unattainable objectives, that it has, like being able to be part of the classification, is a trigger to not only lose players in this game, but also also whole alliances.
let's not forget that this game is not only for the alliances of the classification, because if we do not take it into account, we will continue to lose players, and we will only remain. The TOP 100 and I do not think it's very profitable.
THIS I SAY AS THIS GAME IS VERY FUN FOR ME AND I WANT YOU TO CONTINUE ADVANCING, TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY IT A LONG TIME MORE.

Simple solution is just to rate the alliances by the total number of assists accumulated over a week's time.

Alliances are for meant for active support, not trophy gardens. Individual glory is on the other tab.

I dunno. I wouldn't rate an alliance too highly if it's full of a few people with many mini accounts between them. And they use those mini accounts only to assist themselves or defend themselves. I do believe assists and WINS should factor into the highest ranking alliances though. However, what they are showing on that screen are the alliances with the most trophies, with special weighting put in (for some reason) to make the top trophy holders count for more of the total. It's not a rating of alliance quality, assist quantity, etc... and doesn't claim to be, I don't think.

My point is not to harm the big alliances of this game:
I do not consider it pleasant that an alliance that has 90% of inactive players (players in black) has a position insured in the classification just for the cups.
But the biggest outrage was the realization that many players of those alliances have 580 days without playing the game, a long time.
There are many players and complete alliances are disappearing from this game, since the objectives are unattainable, (enter the classification).
I know many will think it does not matter; but if people stop playing this game, they think it can happen.
The players are the ones who make this game, and if they have an achievable goal. , want to try harder for the game.
But that is not the reality at this time. If you have drinks that are active or inactive, it is the same. To be in the classification.

Too much time though, king. And while this dying alliance sits atop the leaderboard for months and months, other active alliances don't get the advertising and eventually die although they had a lot of potential. The devs will address it, since it's one of the few changes they actually SAID they will do, but we all know changes in this game go at a snail's pace. The inactives will not count toward the trophy count someday and then Sweetmai will host a party to celebrate.

I’ll give an example I got attacked on my mini by a member of an alliance called insanity zone ranked 78th with 92 members at 54k trophies with 42 members all inactives. Why are they even there in ranking. Let another struggling alliance who wants to be seen have an opportunity. Since this game really doesn’t have a way to recruit. Let other alliances shine

Am I the only one that sees the upside on this,
                    1. The top 100 would have to be changed to the top 10, if we eliminated all of the inactive alliances, due to the lack of active allainces
                    2. They can't revenge you and if by some chance they do, there wont be anyone to help them, so its a win-win-win for active players in active clans
                    3. 1 and 2 lol, need i say more

                      1. Instead of #100 having 51,000 trophies, they'll have 40,000 then. It will be nice seeing 100 active alliances up there though, no?
                      2. Whether they're on the leaderboard or not, an inactive still won't revenge you. Whether an alliance is on the leaderboard or not, if it's inactive, the one active guy won't have help. I'm not sure what being on the alliance leaderboard has to do with revenging or receiving assistance.

For starters it allows you to do hypothesis testing in attack probabilities, rev estimations based on the population sample, probability of odds of winning and using the data to create inferences based on the data from inactive and active players, while considering the number of inactive clans as a basis for my analysis, everyone obviously does the same thing right? Some may use more complex methods while others utilize a more simplistic approach based on guessing, rather than mathematical formulas

You really crunch the numbers for the thousands of players in the top 100 alliances? With the data continually changing, how do you update your calculations?

                          1. Attack probabilities. How do having inactives in the top 100 help you deduce the probability you will be attacked?
                          2. Revenge estimations. How do having inactives in the top 100 help you estimate the likelihood of being revenged? You can still see the attackers alliance to do whatever calculations you claim.
                          3. Odds of winning. How do having inactives in the top 100 help you figure your odds of winning?

Everyone obviously does the same thing? I think most people just play. So if you estimate that some guy has a 43% chance of revenging you, this helps you how? I'm lucky I can follow any of this without a Master's in statistics!

Yeah, do I do, but obliviously not on a daily basis, it helps me understand trends based on expected player behaviour and I obliviously can’t base my numbers on the full population, but rather based on the sample of the top 100.
i am not in business of training people on how to interpret data you can study statistics if you are interested on how to apply the concepts to the game, but there is something called a standard of error, but there’s no point in explaining it to you, it’s like a child asking why, when you answer, so I am guessing it just might not make sense to you, which is ok and you don’t need a masters in statistics, but rather the entry level of knowledge when it comes to quantative methods.

LOL. I truly hope you and Fritz are friends and you're being snarky just for grins. If this isn't the motivation to a comment like this, maybe you should stick to the number crunching because you don't need a masters in social sciences, but rather the entry level of knowledge when it comes to people skills.
