Hi y'all! Been playing GoO for couple weeks & love it! Thank you for all the great information on here...not a whole lot on this game out there. This site is awesome!!! Quick question.. seeing as I am a noob...how do you find an active alliance that is geared towards a beginner? Bounced around a bit & not much chatter on chat...like discussing where to plop troops, which temples to go after, yadda yadda yadda. With the regards to assisting coz hardly anyone uses the flags. Any help would be great!

Hi π welcome to the forum!!! I also fell in love the the game when I first started.
Now on to ur question π€there are a lot of great alliance out there and many people that are willing to help u. A lot of alliances have different styles of playing. I can tell you from my experience I personally hate rotation styles, specially if your small and everyone else is big, your attacks take 2 minutes and theirs take 5 minutes by the time itβs ur turn an hr has passed and you have done only 2 attacks. Also some alliances are defense first. So u want to attack but have to wait again because u have to defend.
When I was looking for an alliance to merge with I found that there were many many dead alliances. Sooo I would say top ten alliancesπ€·π»ββοΈ Your more then welcomed to join genesis I can lower the trophy requirements for u and you can grow big and strong.
We have high lv and low lvs soo u would be fine.
I personally see my alliance mates as friends and family and that makes the game more enjoyable.

There are millions of alliance out there. Keep on searching and try clicking some alliances which have 100/100 members or almost full members. Scroll down the member list and see if most of their members are active (inactive players are shown, faded out, you'll see what I mean when you look at it). Read the description to see if they look passionate about what they are doing. I agree with Sweetmai that you shouldn't go into the alliance that has a strict rule when attacking (like call for your attack when you are attacking, or take turns to attack). So try a few, and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, like I said, there are millions of alliances out there. Look for the one you like.

haha, smh for rotation, I enjoyed the structure when I was starting out, and assisting on attacks, so loved the rotation alliances, and they all had the option to solo, so try a few out, of all types, and see where you fit in best.

I know y'all are waaay higher levels than my wittle lvl 40 base, but can u steer me in the right direction on how to maximize my stone amount when attacking? None of my alliance members know the numbers. Oh heck...just hmu w/your best advice for assisting PLEASE! So lost whether to slam the archeries/academies or hit temples or just keep a line of archers to form a line to help gods....ugh! Tysvm in advance! I thank the Greek Gods y'all r here on this board!!
