  • “Observer mode” a reason for quitting the game?

Recently my alliance decided to join in the Alliance Wars part of the game. The limiting of 5 assistants per battle is unacceptable to me.
I love the game and have enjoyed it for years. However this limitation is ruining the fun.
I’ve reduced my playing time to under 15 minutes per day. I think I’ve even missed a day ! 😳
I’m a chronic assistant and rarely attack. Assisting is what I do. To reduce that in any way takes away everything I enjoy about the game.
Maybe I should look for another game to play?

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Know that the alliance war battles are the only type of battles that are currently assist limited. What we want to prevent is the possibility of an entire alliance planning and then waiting in a queue and having to synchronize and organize attack times during the day in order to make sure each of their alliance's war attacks has at huge number of assisters in order to try to maximize their chances of winning a war.

Leroy quoting to this ... Can there be a mechanism wherein the alliance leader can enforce such things... Like the max of 5 assisters or no attacks over ongoing battles like... Not as in rules and if you do it you are kicked out... I mean in the orientation of alliance mechanism tab?... Where maybe you can only start the attack if the attacker has at least 4 assisters already? Any sort of that?

We could do something like this but it would be very low priority. I expect lots of other features would get done first.

I understand... And yeah i ask this because a lot of us want to ensure that the things happen in a certain way and if either the announcements of the alliance can be shown before joining or ... Like i said in a different post that if the description limit can be bigger... At the least We can make these things clear already before someone joins... Or the other option being having controls over to this kind of management

I understand. The problem is, I’m not that competitive or at least not as serious about the game.
I quit two other alliances because they were too strict about game play. I found a more “relaxed” alliance (with a lower ranking) that was a better fit for my desires.
Now, with the addition of the “War”, There’s no choice but to join an alliance that doesn’t participate in the War.
Is there a way I can identify an alliance that doesn’t participate?…without just joining every one until I find one?
…and if they don’t participate…they might not be active enough to warrant joining.
